First 90 Days

  Work collaboratively with elected council to establish a decision making framework based on data driven factual input (what should we know), meaningful engagement with membership (on and off reserve) and best practices from top performing communities

·      Create a current state assessment of all major portfolios – Housing , health, Education, Community Infrastructure, Social Development, Economic Development, Band Administration

·       Establish a communications strategy that will provide two-way feedback mechanism to share with and solicit from all members for feedback on priorities and needs

·      Organization chart of Band owned/run entities (i.e Housing Society)– how many, what are they, who is responsible for them, how do they operate etc…

·      Review April 2021 funding and confirm spending priorities, plans and/or create options and alternatives – clarify what is already determined and cant change,

·      Introductions with all key government and non-government stakeholders – ISC, Minister of Indigenous Affairs, Province, Auditors, MNP etc…

·      Make recommendation on what we should consider Stopping, Starting and Continuing aligned with community goals, values and needs

·      Develop quarterly performance reporting and information sharing recommendations
